Our History
The East Rand Woodworkers Association (ERWA) was founded in 2003 by Georg Stroebel, Bill Parrack Denis Lock, Clive Morris, and Don Diamond.
Their vision was to create a space where woodworking enthusiasts could share their knowledge, skills, and experience while fostering a community of like-minded individuals who shared a passion for the craft.
From these humble beginnings, ERWA has grown into a thriving association that continues to promote learning, mentorship, and camaraderie among woodworkers of all skill levels.
